Research Desk Is Now Built Into SightX: A More Connected Way to Source and Field Research

SightX, Rep Data’s platform for designing, fielding and analyzing research, now integrates directly with Research Desk, Rep Data’s centralized solution for sourcing and managing sample. Researchers can source respondents through Research Desk’s global network of vetted sample sources or bring their own audience, all within SightX.

With Research Desk built directly into SightX, researchers can move from study design to audience selection to fielding in one place. You don’t need a separate Research Desk license, you can avoid moving between platforms and you don’t have to wait for someone else to field your study.

Two ways to source your audience

When setting up a study in SightX, researchers can choose how to source their audience:

  1. Bring your own audience: Already have the sample you need? Use your own audience and continue building and fielding your study in SightX.

  2. Source through Research Desk: Need respondents? Source through Rep Data’s Research Desk directly within SightX, with access to a global network of vetted sample sources and controls for targeting, quotas, source mix, quality thresholds, pricing and pace.

Either way, researchers can build their study, choose their audience and launch when they're ready.

From research design to fielding, all within SightX

SightX provides the tools to design, program, field and analyze quantitative research, with advanced methodologies including MaxDiff, conjoint, TURF and pricing research, to name a few.

Research Desk provides centralized access and control to sample and manage audience sourcing. And now, those capabilities are available directly within SightX. So instead of moving between platforms or handing a study off to another team to source and field, researchers can manage the process from the same place where they build their research.

“This gets us closer to the experience we’ve always wanted to give researchers in SightX. You can start with a research question, build the study, find the right audience and get into field without breaking your workflow. That continuity makes it much easier to keep the research moving.”

A more connected Rep Data experience

Rep Data brings together capabilities spanning research design and programming, sample sourcing, fraud prevention, in-survey quality and research analysis. The Research Desk integration with SightX builds on that connected approach by bringing audience sourcing directly into the same platform researchers use to design and field their studies.

For researchers, that means a simpler way to move from designing a study to getting it into field, with more of the research process accessible in one place.

It’s another step toward making the full Rep Data experience easier for researchers to access and use, with more connections to come.
