Rep Data is heading to Greenbook’s IIEX NA in Washington D.C.
Rep Data heads to IIEX North America to discuss data quality, fraud and research efficiency, featuring a live session on spotting bad data.IIEX North America from Greenbook brings together researchers, brands and partners across the industry. This year’s event in Washington, D.C. looks like it will be focusing on the operational realities facing many of us, especially when it comes to data quality and market research efficiencies.
Rep Data will be on site throughout the conference at Booth 39, with a team there spanning research, product and client services. We will be talking about where workflows might be breaking down, how teams are managing data quality in practice and what is changing as fraud becomes more sophisticated.
One of the key sessions at the conference will be led by Rep Data’s Steven Snell and Google’s Jake Weidman, “The Great Fraud Face-Off: Quality Data vs. Fool’s Gold,” taking place on Thursday, April 30 at 4:20 PM. Stay tuned for the list of esteemed game show participants who will be joining Steve and Jake on stage for this live, interactive session that is designed to test how well teams can distinguish between high-quality data and manipulated responses.
Rather than focusing on theory, the session puts real examples in front of the audience and highlights how difficult it can be to distinguish between them. As fraud becomes harder to detect through surface-level checks, this kind of exercise reflects a broader shift in the industry. Detection is no longer just about identifying obvious bad actors. It requires a deeper understanding of behavior, patterns and how quality signals show up in real data.
Beyond our interactive game show, there will be plenty of opportunities for conversation throughout the week in D.C. Early on, events like Women in Research’s Kick-Off at IIEX North America on Tuesday, April 28, and the MRII & Morning Consult Insights Industry Happy Hour on Wednesday, April 29, offer informal settings to reconnect with peers and continue discussions beyond the sessions.
Across the agenda and conversations, a few themes are already coming through clearly. Teams are looking more closely at how quality is managed across the full research workflow, not just at the point of data cleaning. There is also more focus on how fraud is evolving, and how detection approaches need to adapt in response. At the same time, there is growing pressure to move faster without introducing additional risk into the data. These are not new challenges, but they are becoming harder to manage as tools, suppliers and expectations continue to expand.
If you’re heading to IIEX North America, stop by Booth 39 to connect with the team. Steven Snell, Lindsay Humm, Ellis Kelly, Curtis Damour, Joel Nelson and Tim Lawton will all be on site throughout the event.
