Strengthening the Foundation: Join Rep Data at IA Ignite: Data Quality

Join Rep Data at IA Ignite: Data Quality to explore solutions for fraud, AI-driven risks and protecting data integrity in the insights industry.

The insights industry runs on a simple premise that the data has to hold up. As fraud becomes more sophisticated and increasingly AI driven, protecting that foundation is getting harder and more important by the day.

That’s why Rep Data is joining the conversation at Insights Association’s Ignite: Data Quality conference on April 21 in Hoboken, New Jersey. This event is designed to move beyond simply identifying problems and toward implementing practical, actionable solutions across the entire research lifecycle. We are looking forward to contributing to that mission and networking with our peers who are dedicated to protecting data integrity.

Featured Panel: The Commercialization of Modern Survey Fraud

A highlight of our time at IA Ignite: Data Quality will be our panel discussion featuring our EVP and Head of Research, Steven Snell, PhD, on the commercialization of modern survey fraud. Modern research relies on a global sample ecosystem that enables speed, scale, and access to hard-to-reach audiences, but that same ecosystem has allowed a subset of profit‑driven, organized fraud networks to thrive.

Steven and the panel will explore how these industrialized threats pass common attention checks and, more importantly, how researchers can fight back.

Don’t miss our session with other industry leaders:

  • Panel: The Commercialization of Modern Survey Fraud
  • When: Tuesday, April 21, 2026 | 10:00 AM – 10:45 AM
  • Moderator: Melanie Courtright (Sago)
  • Panelists: Steven Snell (Rep Data), Andrew Gordon (Prolific), Frank Kelly (Virtual Incentives), and Rich Ratcliff (OpinionRoute)

Key discussion points will include:

  • Developing a shared fraud taxonomy to identify ecosystem blind spots.
  • Evaluating suppliers based on cost-per-quality outcomes rather than just cost-per-complete.
  • Implementing layered, "passive-first" defenses that combine technical and behavioral signals.

We’re ready to hear the challenges our peers are facing in the field and how we can work together to ensure the future of market research remains built on a foundation of high-quality, trustworthy data.

See you at Ignite!
