Rep Data heads to The Quirk’s Event in New York

Quirk’s New York isn’t just another stop on the conference circuit, it’s one of the few events where real conversations happen. It’s efficient, well-run, and packed with people who are actually doing the work. We’ll be there July 23–24 at Booth #310, ready to talk data quality, fraud prevention, and how to work smarter.

You’ll also find our Head of Research, Steven Snell, PhD, on the speaker lineup this year. Join Steve and Lucy Davidson, Founder and CEO of Keen as Mustard Marketing, on Thursday, July 24 at 9:45 am in Room 6 for Outsmart the Fraudster! The Data Quality Game. This interactive session—complete with buzzers, prizes, and friendly competition—will spotlight the rise of tech-enabled survey fraud and arm attendees with engaging strategies to detect and eliminate it. If you’re serious about safeguarding data integrity, you won’t want to miss this fast‑paced, practical deep dive into modern fraud prevention.

Here’s what we’re excited about:

Sessions that actually make you smarter.
Quirk’s New York always delivers quick-hit sessions with real substance, and this year’s agenda doesn’t disappoint. We’re planning to catch the Behaviorally and Mondelez talk on how packaging breaks through the noise in today’s cluttered retail spaces, as well as SSRS and ESPN’s look at how fan engagement is shifting across generations in “The evolution of fandom: How 30 years of insights help ESPN engage multiple generations of fans.” We’re also making time for David Intrator, who is back with a deep (and likely hilarious) dive into the role of “bulls#!t” in research—why it happens, how it’s spotted, and how good storytelling can help us avoid it. This year’s sessions feel especially grounded in what’s actually useful with a lineup that spans everything from shopper behavior to cultural critique. Mark your calendars for our own Steven Snell, who will be taking the stage to share fresh insights on fighting fraud and protecting data integrity.

Networking and Connections
The Reps are also looking forward to plenty of chances to network with colleagues, clients and connections, starting with the ever-popular Women in Research pre-show reception on July 22—one of the best networking moments of the week, and a great way to ease into the conference without diving headfirst into slides and case studies. This event is followed by The Research Club’s late-night meetup. Once the show kicks off on July 23rd, there’s Cocktails with Quirk’s and the Opening Night Party that evening, then a final toast during the Quirk’s Happy Hour on the last day.

What we’re bringing to the table.
You’ll find us at Booth #310, where we’ll be talking about the things that make research work better from the start. That includes our multi-source approach to sampling, how we pull from 250+ panels to move faster and reduce bias, and about our Research Desk platform, which gives teams more control over how they buy and manage sample. We’ll also be walking through how our Research Defender technology catches fraud before it hits your data with layered protection that runs in real time. Whether you're running a high-stakes tracker or a quick concept test or any other kind of study under the sun, we’re here to help make sure the data you get is the data you can trust. Interested in talking qualitative? We're here for you. Steve Snell, Aaron Rager, Cullen Wheatley, Blaine Thomas, and Ricky Odello will be in New York in July ready to talk shop, dig into the tough questions, and catch up after hours. If you haven’t registered yet, now’s the time.
